Heavy rainfall is forecasted in Karachi over the next two days, with the Meteorological Department warning of potential urban flooding in various parts of the city.
Currently, intermittent rain and drizzle are ongoing in several areas of Karachi. Water has begun to accumulate on roads following the rain, causing severe disruptions in transportation for residents.
In New Karachi, the post-rain situation has deteriorated significantly. At Allah Wali Stop, deep potholes filled with water are affecting vehicle movement. Drains in the area have also overflowed with the rainfall, but there is no sign of the administration turning daily life into a misery for the public.
The Meteorological Department has cautioned that more rain is expected in the coming two days. Residents are advised to take precautions, and relevant departments have been urged to take immediate action.
