A positive development has emerged for Pakistani citizens, as they now have access to visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry in 32 countries. This change follows an improvement in the global ranking of the Pakistani passport, reflecting Pakistan’s enhanced international image and successful diplomatic efforts.
According to a recently released report by the globally renowned institution “Henley & Partners” regarding passport rankings, the Pakistani passport now stands at 100th position, whereas in 2021 it was ranked 113th. This 13-place improvement is attributed to Pakistan’s strengthening international relations, effective diplomacy, and trust-building policies with foreign countries.
In this context, a significant agreement has been reached between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, under which holders of diplomatic and official passports from both countries will no longer require a prior visa to enter each other’s territory.
This agreement will not only ease travel for individuals on official and diplomatic missions but also help elevate bilateral relations to new heights. As a result of this decision, such individuals will be exempted from formal visa procedures, applications, and waiting periods, clearly reflecting mutual trust and strong diplomatic ties.
For Pakistani citizens and overseas workers, this development is not only a source of convenience but also concrete evidence of Pakistan’s improved global reputation.
