The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Sindh peace march and public gathering will be held in Karachi today, prompting the authorities to issue road closure notices and a comprehensive traffic diversion plan for the convenience of citizens.
According to the JUI-F spokesperson, the peace march caravan will enter Karachi from Thatta via Ghaghar Phatak in Malir. The spokesperson added that party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will lead the march at Shahrah-e-Faisal and later address the participants.
The JUI-F Sindh peace march, which began on September 14 from Kashmore and passed through several cities, will conclude today with the grand gathering in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Karachi Traffic Police have issued detailed instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow during the rally. Police confirmed that the public gathering will take place near MR Kiyani Chowk and the Arts Council, with the Shahin Complex to Fawara Chowk road closed for vehicular traffic.
As per the plan, vehicles approaching from Ziauddin Signal will be diverted toward Club Chowk and Shahrah-e-Faisal. Similarly, traffic from Shahin Complex heading toward Press Club will be rerouted through PIDC and Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Traffic from PIDC will be redirected toward Avari Hotel, while vehicles from Rex Center to Fawara Chowk will be sent toward Avari or Clifton routes.
In addition, vehicles from Chhatri Chowk heading toward MR Kiyani will be diverted toward SM Law College, while those from Ahl-e-Hadith Chowk heading toward MR Kiyani will be redirected to Shahrah-e-Liaquat to prevent congestion.
