Dubai has approved the largest budget in its history for the financial years 2026 to 2028, outlining the emirate’s priorities and development roadmap for the next three years.
According to international media reports, Dubai’s three-year budget amounts to 302.7 billion dirhams (approximately 82.41 billion dollars). As per the UAE’s official news agency, Dubai’s revenue is expected to increase by 5 percent, bringing the projected income to 329.2 billion dirhams (around 89.63 billion dollars), with a surplus anticipated during the period.
Media reports further stated that Dubai’s estimated expenditure for 2026 alone has been set at 99.5 billion dirhams, while revenues for the same year are projected to reach 107.7 billion dirhams, exceeding the spending forecast.
The development plan allocates 48 percent of the 2026 budget to infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and public transport, whereas 28 percent has been reserved for the social sector, including health, education, community development, and welfare programs.
