Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Khaleda Zia has been shifted to a ventilator after her health condition deteriorated, raising serious concern among political and public circles.
According to Bangladeshi media, the medical board stated that Khaleda Zia is suffering from severe breathing difficulties along with additional medical complications. Doctors said her respiratory condition has worsened, making ventilator support necessary.
The medical board further explained that her respiratory system and other vital organs require continuous medical support. Due to the critical nature of her condition, she has been placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit for close monitoring.
Reports indicate that the 80-year-old former prime minister has been hospitalized since November 23 after being admitted with heart and lung infections. A team of specialists is closely observing her condition, and the coming days are considered crucial for her recovery.
