In Karachi, the Sindh Building Control Authority has de-sealed the dental clinic of former President Arif Alvi, marking a significant development in the matter related to the sealing of the facility.
The constitutional bench of the Sindh High Court heard a contempt of court petition concerning the sealing of the former president’s dental clinic, during which the latest progress in the case was presented before the court.
During the hearing, Barrister Ali Tahir informed the court that the Sindh Building Control Authority had de-sealed the dental clinic after the contempt petition was filed, effectively addressing the concerns raised by the petitioner.
Barrister Ali Tahir stated that following the de-sealing of the clinic, they no longer wished to pursue further proceedings in the case and sought to withdraw the petition.
The court recorded the petitioner’s stance and disposed of the contempt of court petition filed against the Director General SBCA and others on the basis of its withdrawal.
