An increase in the intensity of cold weather is expected in Karachi over the next few days, which may bring noticeably colder conditions for residents of the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new spell of western winds is affecting various parts of Sindh, due to which dusty strong winds along with thunder and rainfall are expected in Karachi today.
The department stated that from Friday to Sunday, the cold is likely to intensify further in Karachi, with the minimum temperature expected to drop to around 7 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may remain close to 20 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, under the influence of this weather system, rainfall is also expected in several districts of Sindh, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Sujawal, Hyderabad, and Tando Muhammad Khan.
Rain is also forecast for Tando Allahyar, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Naushahro Feroze, and Shaheed Benazirabad, while chances of rain persist in the districts of Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, Jacobabad, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, and Shikarpur.
