A significant development has taken place in the Mustafa Aamir murder case being heard in the Anti Terrorism Court in Karachi, where the court formally framed charges against the accused, Armaghan and Shiraz. Both accused, however, pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations.
During the hearing, the charges were read out in court, after which the accused rejected them. Following their denial, the court issued notices to summon prosecution witnesses for the next hearing so that the trial proceedings may formally proceed.
The court also rejected the bail application filed by accused Shiraz, observing that there was no justification for granting bail at this stage.
The hearing was subsequently adjourned until March 12, with directions to ensure the presence of prosecution witnesses at the next date.
