China has announced the provision of emergency humanitarian assistance for Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, aiming to provide immediate relief to affected populations.
According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the primary objective of this aid is to ease the hardships faced by people affected by the conflict. China has also expressed deep concern over the growing humanitarian crisis and conveyed sympathy for the victims.
In a statement, the ministry said that China will continue its efforts to promote a ceasefire and peace in the region, emphasizing that addressing the worsening humanitarian situation should be a global priority.
The statement further emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means of resolving ongoing conflicts and that the international community must take collective steps in this direction.
