Pakistan has offered to mediate between Iran and the United States to help reduce rising tensions, aiming to promote peace and stability in the region.
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, while speaking to Arab media, condemned the attacks on Iran and stated that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Gulf countries.
He emphasized that Pakistan is willing to play an active role in efforts to de-escalate tensions and is ready to mediate between the two countries.
Atta Tarar said that Pakistan has previously played a successful mediatory role in resolving international disputes and is prepared to contribute positively in the current situation as well.
The federal minister also rejected the Afghan Taliban’s allegation regarding a hospital bombing, stating that the Pakistan Army did not target civilian populations in Afghanistan and that the strikes were focused on camps involved in spreading terrorism.
He added that the Afghan Taliban have previously spread misleading information, and similar baseless claims have been made again.
