Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on April 4 on the occasion of the 47th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department of Sindh, all government offices, including local councils, will remain closed on April 4, suspending regular official activities.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Peoples Party has decided to cancel its traditional rally scheduled for April 4 in light of the current national situation.
According to the party, instead of holding a large public gathering, Quran recitation ceremonies will be organized at district headquarters across the province, where prayers will be offered for the departed leader.
