Light rain and drizzle have been reported across various areas of Karachi since last night, bringing pleasant weather conditions and a drop in temperature.
Rainfall was recorded in I.I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, Old City, M.A. Jinnah Road, Malir, Korangi, and other areas, while DHA and Shah Faisal Colony also experienced light showers.
According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected from today until April 4 across Karachi and several districts of Sindh, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Matiari, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Thatta, and Hyderabad.
The department stated that strong winds and thunderstorms may accompany the rain, with chances of heavy downpours in some areas, and advised citizens to take precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for K-Electric said that due to the forecast, power supply may be temporarily suspended in some areas as a safety precaution.
The spokesperson added that electricity supply is restored gradually after rainfall stops and clearance is received from field teams.
