The United States has surpassed Saudi Arabia and Russia in oil production, emerging as the world’s largest oil-producing country.
According to international data for 2026, US daily oil production has exceeded the combined output of Saudi Arabia and Russia, marking a significant development in the global energy market.
The report states that the US average daily production is expected to reach approximately 13.6 million barrels in 2026, with projections rising to 13.8 million barrels per day in 2027.
Global rankings place the United States first, Saudi Arabia second, and Russia third among oil-producing nations, indicating a shift in global energy dynamics.
Data shows that US daily production ranges between 20.9 and 22.8 million barrels, accounting for about 15 to 20 percent of global output, while Saudi Arabia produces between 10.8 and 11.2 million barrels and Russia between 10.5 and 10.9 million barrels per day.
