Iranian media has claimed that a major fire has erupted at an oil facility in Jubail, located in eastern Saudi Arabia, with flames visible from miles away and thick smoke covering the sky.
According to reports, a video of the fire has been released, although the cause of the incident has not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense system successfully intercepted and destroyed seven ballistic missiles fired toward the eastern region.
The ministry added that debris from the intercepted missiles fell on an energy-related facility, and an assessment of the resulting damage is currently underway.
