The Meteorological Department has stated that no rainfall is expected in Karachi and across Sindh for now, with dry and hot weather likely to prevail in the coming days.
According to the department, the upcoming western weather system will mostly remain limited to the upper parts of the country, reducing the chances of rain in Sindh.
The department has forecast a gradual increase in temperatures in Karachi and other parts of Sindh, with heat intensity expected to rise from April 10, and temperatures likely to reach 34°C or higher.
Weather experts have warned that a heatwave-like situation may develop in Karachi towards the end of April, advising citizens to take precautionary measures.
