Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has expressed gratitude to the state of Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their role in mediating the ceasefire in Lebanon, describing the development as significant.
In a statement shared on social media, he termed the Lebanon ceasefire as a result of Hezbollah’s steadfastness and unity, adding that it reflects resistance and solidarity.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the ceasefire would be handled with caution and that all parties would remain united until full success is achieved, while the process would continue in a careful and phased manner to reach the desired outcome.
He appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts and the role of Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying that their contributions are valuable and worthy of acknowledgment.
The Iranian speaker further stated that Iran will remain committed to its stance and will not step back from its position, while continuing its efforts toward peace in the region.
