London: According to the UK Ministry of Defence, the United Kingdom and France have initiated a two-day conference in London starting today, bringing together military planners from more than 30 countries to discuss reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry stated that participating military planners will hold detailed discussions on their countries’ capabilities, command and control structures, and the potential deployment of military forces in the region, aiming to develop a coordinated strategy.
The UK Ministry of Defence further noted that any military plan will only be advanced after a sustainable ceasefire agreement is reached, in order to ensure peace and stability in the region.
