Gold prices have recorded a significant decline for the second consecutive day in both local and international markets, reflecting a continued downward trend and cautious investor sentiment in the precious metals sector.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by 5,500 rupees, bringing it down to 479,562 rupees, indicating a noticeable drop compared to recent levels.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by 4,715 rupees, reaching 411,147 rupees, which reflects a weakening trend in the domestic market.
On the other hand, silver prices also witnessed a slight decrease, as the price per tola fell by 45 rupees to 7,766 rupees, showing that the silver market is also under pressure.
In the international market, gold prices declined by 55 dollars per ounce, bringing the price down to 4,572 dollars, indicating weaker global demand or market pressure.
