Israeli media reports have claimed that US President Donald Trump exerted pressure on the family of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an effort to secure support for American demands regarding Lebanon.
According to Israeli businessman Roni Mani, Trump allegedly warned Netanyahu’s wife, Sarah Netanyahu, that failure to accept Washington’s position on Lebanon could lead to legal troubles for Netanyahu, the deportation of their son Yair Netanyahu from the United States, and the freezing of family assets held in America.
The report further claims that Trump indicated the possibility of offering refuge in the United States if the Netanyahu family faced political difficulties in the future.
Roni Mani also alleged that Sarah Netanyahu later urged her husband to align with the American position on Lebanon, after which Netanyahu reportedly contacted Trump and agreed with the US stance.
However, these claims have not been independently verified, and neither US nor Israeli officials have issued any formal confirmation.
Political analysts note that until official verification is provided, the allegations should be treated as unconfirmed reports.
