London: President Asif Ali Zardari and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting in London, where they discussed the country’s current political situation and key national issues.
According to sources, the meeting lasted approximately one hour and included a one-on-one discussion between President Zardari and Mohsin Naqvi.
Sources said several important national and political matters were discussed during the meeting.
The interior minister also conveyed an important message to President Zardari, although further details regarding the message have not been disclosed.
According to sources, the president conveyed that he remained firm on his position regarding various national matters, particularly the ongoing debate over the creation of new provinces.
President Zardari said all stakeholders would have to move forward together in the national interest, stressing that no issue could have a sustainable solution without national consensus.
President Asif Ali Zardari is currently in London and is expected to remain in the United Kingdom for around two weeks.
