The foreign ministers of the G7 countries have urged Iran to immediately end its support for the Yemeni Houthis and stop supplying them with weapons.
A meeting of the G7 foreign ministers was held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, where the situation in Iran and Yemen was discussed.
The meeting called on Iran to end its arms supplies and support for Yemen’s Houthi group, Ansar Allah.
The G7 countries strongly condemned Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia and Yemen and called on the group to immediately halt all military operations.
The G7 foreign ministers urged the Houthis to end threats and attacks against commercial shipping and return seriously to the political process.
