Senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser claimed that the decision to impose governor’s rule and an emergency had already been made, describing the government’s negotiations as merely for show.
Asad Qaiser said the formation of a fact-finding committee on the long march was under consideration.
He said Salman Akram Raja had not held Sohail Afridi responsible for the failure during the core committee meeting. Qaiser added that the claims appearing on social media had no basis in reality. He also said Ali Amin Gandapur had attended the core committee meeting.
Qaiser claimed that governor’s rule and the emergency had been decided long before, while negotiations were conducted only for appearances.
