Lahore: The Session Court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Monas Elahi in cases related to bribery, giving, and receiving bribes, and gratification.
According to the details, the FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) had filed a request for the permanent arrest warrant of Monas Elahi in Lahore’s Session Court.
The FIA stated in the request that the accused attempted to evade inclusion in the investigation, and notices were publicly displayed at the accused’s residence, public places, and the court’s surroundings.
The FIA asserted that the accused is intentionally concealing his identity, attempting to avoid being part of the investigation, and requested the court to issue permanent arrest warrants for Monas Elahi and his accomplice, Aamir Sahil.
In response, the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Monas Elahi.
Earlier, the court had already issued an advertisement regarding Monas Elahi’s involvement in money laundering and corruption cases, and it has now initiated actions to freeze his National Identity Card, passport, bank accounts, and all his properties.
The court has also requested details of Monas Elahi’s travel history, including passport, National Identity Card, and current address, along with bank account information.
