May 9: Investigation Complete on 7 Cases Including Attack on Jinnah House, JIT Declares Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi Guilty.
PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been found guilty based on contradictory statements and evidence. According to the JIT report, Shah Mahmood Qureshi incited people through his social media accounts.
The report also includes forensic analysis of videos from Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s social media accounts. The polygraph test indicated that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was lying.
Police sources state that Shah Mahmood Qureshi could not provide satisfactory answers regarding the events of May 9. The polygraph test conducted in jail also indicated that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was lying. Digital evidence also proved Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s involvement in arson and violent incidents. The joint investigation team interrogated Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Adiala Jail.
Police sources also mention that the challan has been submitted to the court, declaring Shah Mahmood Qureshi guilty in all seven cases. The JIT went to jail three times to record Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s statement.
