Former Railway Minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique was shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology after suffering a heart attack, where he was provided immediate medical care and placed under the supervision of specialist doctors.
According to details, doctors discovered a blocked artery during examination and promptly inserted a stent to restore blood flow and prevent further complications. After completing the initial stages of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital and sent home to rest.
His younger brother and Provincial Health Minister Salman Rafique, along with other close family members, were present at the hospital and remained in contact with the medical team throughout the treatment process.
Khawaja Saad Rafique stated that he had gone to the hospital for a routine check-up after feeling unwell, where a detailed examination revealed a blocked artery, and an immediate procedure was carried out to insert a stent.
He added that, by the grace of Allah, he has now returned home after receiving treatment and is in better health.
