A Saudi investment group has expressed interest in investing $10 billion in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
The development emerged during a meeting between Federal Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and a high-level delegation comprising business leaders, overseas Pakistanis and media representatives.
During the meeting, the participants discussed investment opportunities, industrial development and potential areas of cooperation in Pakistan.
The delegation included Rashid Khan Niazi, former director of current affairs at Pakistan Television, Falcon Vision Chairman Mohammad Tariq Ghaus, business executives from Falcon Vision Pakistan, overseas Pakistanis based in South Korea and representatives from the luxury automobile sector.
According to officials, the Saudi group expressed a strong interest in investing in Pakistan, while the government assured the delegation of full support and facilitation.
