Riyadh: Attacks by Yemen’s Houthi Ansar Allah group on several Saudi cities have left 73 people injured, including women and children, according to the Saudi-led coalition.
The coalition said the Houthis targeted Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jazan in the attacks.
According to the Saudi-led coalition, civilian and economic facilities were targeted, leaving a total of 73 people injured.
The coalition vowed a strong response to the attacks, saying strikes targeting civilian and economic infrastructure would be dealt with firmly.
The development comes after the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed last Sunday to remain in close contact.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, during which the two sides agreed to maintain close coordination.
