Senior politician and legal expert, Aitzaz Ahsan, has also reacted to the verdict in the Tosha khana case involving the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his spouse.
Talking to the media in the Lahore High Court, Aitzaz Ahsan said that the decisions are being made for February 8. Both the decisions against the ex-chairman PTI are flawed. They want pressure on PTI workers.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that the accused was not given the right of defense while giving the punishments, the prosecution lawyers were appointed as the accused’s counsel. The accused was convicted without taking the statement of 342.
He further said that what is happening with PTI, it can happen with other parties too, the Election Commission cannot dissolve the party but it dispersed it.
