The Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly has approved the revised budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 and the estimated budget for 2024/25 with a volume of 264 billion 330 million.
In a session chaired by Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan approved an estimated budget of 264 billion 330 million for the fiscal year 2024/25 after completing general discussions on the budget.
Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan presented the Finance Bill 2024/25 in the elected House, detailing over 220 billion in non-development expenditures and 44 billion allocated for development expenditures in the budget.
Prior to this, the Assembly approved a revised budget of 190 billion 93 million 50 lakh rupees for the fiscal year 2023/24 in its session.
