Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid heartfelt tribute to Major Sabtain Haider, who embraced martyrdom while courageously fighting India-backed terrorists in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan. In his statement, the minister said that Major Sabtain sacrificed his life to crush the nefarious designs of the enemy and wrote a new chapter of courage and bravery with his blood.
Naqvi said the entire nation is proud of such brave sons of the soil and will always remember their sacrifice with respect and honor. He added that the nation salutes the unwavering courage and valor of Major Sabtain. The minister also expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the martyr’s family.
According to the Interior Minister, Major Sabtain eliminated seven India-backed terrorists during the operation. It is worth mentioning that during an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in Daraban, seven terrorists were killed. In the intense exchange of fire, Major Sabtain Haider was leading his team with bravery and embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
