A formal ban has been imposed on opening private schools for educational activities during the winter vacations. The District Education Authority has made it clear that strict legal action will be taken against institutions found violating government directives.
According to the District Education Authority, special committees headed by Deputy DEOs have been formed in five tehsils to ensure effective implementation of the ban. These committees will visit their respective tehsils and submit detailed reports to the Education Authority Lahore.
The authority further stated that schools violating the orders may face heavy fines, while in serious cases, the cancellation of the institution’s license may also be considered.
