President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the nation, expressing their hope that the coming year will bring progress, prosperity, and overall stability to the country.
In his message at the beginning of the New Year, President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan is not immune to various challenges; however, the nation is by no means helpless or discouraged. He emphasized that through unity, resilience, creativity, and strong belief, all difficulties can be overcome.
The President further stated that, as a nation and as custodians of Pakistan, it is essential to renew collective responsibilities so that the challenges facing the country can be confronted in an effective, serious, and well-considered manner.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated all citizens on the New Year and prayed that the coming year would bring prosperity, development, and lasting stability for Pakistan while meeting the expectations of the people.
The Prime Minister said that the year 2025 would be written in golden words in the history of national defense, adding that the entire nation would stand shoulder to shoulder with the brave armed forces and prove to be an unbreakable wall in the defense of the country.
