The National Accountability Bureau Karachi has recovered 350 acres of valuable land in what is being described as one of the largest operations in the country’s history. According to officials, the estimated value of the land exceeds 423 billion rupees.
NAB, in collaboration with the Board of Revenue, conducted a joint operation in Clifton Block One and Block Two, resulting in the recovery of the land from alleged illegal occupation. Relevant records and legal documents were also examined during the operation.
According to NAB, the recovered land has been handed over to the Sindh government after completion of legal formalities so that it may be utilized for official purposes. Authorities stated that efforts to protect public property and eliminate illegal encroachments will continue.
