The Ministry of Law and Justice has rejected the request for leave until retirement of the judge who hears the cases of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan.
According to the sources, the Ministry of Law and Justice did not approve the application regarding the leave of Islamabad Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir, after which Judge Muhammad Bashir withdrew his application.
Judge Muhammad Bashir had applied for leave from January 24 to March 14 due to ill health.
It should be noted that 2 references against founder PTI and Bushra Bibi are under hearing in the court of Judge Muhammad Bashir, while Judge Muhammad Bashir is retiring on March 14, 2024 after completing his term of service. He had applied for medical leave till retirement.
