The Karachi Meteorological Department has forecasted further intensification of cold weather in Karachi, stating that cold winds will blow at night.
According to details, there is a reign of cold winds in Karachi, as stated by the Meteorological Department, indicating that cold winds will blow in the city at night and the cold will intensify further.
The Meteorological Department stated that clouds will prevail throughout the day but there are no chances of rain; dry winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour.
The minimum temperature in the city is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may range from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, life in the mountains of Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resumed, with snowfall continuing in Swat Valley, Kalam, and Malam Jabba.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain-bearing western winds will continue to affect the country until the end of January, during which rain and snowfall are expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
In Balochistan, including Quetta, Zhob and Ziarat, rain and snowfall on the mountains are expected on January 28 and 29.
The cold is intense in the northern areas, with the temperature dropping to minus eight in Skardu and minus five in Gilgit.
