Notably, the Sindh government has decided to increase the higher education budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 from 22 billion rupees to 30 billion rupees.
In this regard, the Sindh Higher Education Commission has sent its proposal to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in the form of a summary.
This increase will make the budget of the Sindh Higher Education Commission higher than that of the federal Higher Education Commission, whose budget is being reduced from 65 billion rupees to 25 billion rupees.
