Sindh Minister for Information, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has announced the establishment of an Information Call Centre under the supervision of his department.
The important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Sindh Minister for Information, Sharjeel Inam Memon, with other relevant officials, including the Secretary of Information.
During the meeting, the provincial minister announced the establishment of an Information Call Centre under the Information Department. The minister said that all provincial departments would be connected to the Information Call Centre, which would provide timely and authentic information on government policies and initiatives. The call centre would also counter fake news and propaganda against the government.
Sharjeel Inam Memon directed the immediate preparation of a PC for the call centre, stating that the performance of the department should be improved, and the publicity of Sindh government’s developmental projects should be ensured. The Information Department is responsible for informing the public about government initiatives.
The Secretary of Information was instructed to provide a policy guide and produce desired results, focus on social media, and further improve its performance.
