Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman criticized the violent behavior of the rulers in Islamabad, emphasizing that every party has the right to hold rallies and protests.
Speaking at a press conference in Sukkur, Maulana Fazlur Rehman questioned the inconsistent approach of the authorities. He pointed out that caravans coming from one province were initially given way as officials stated they did not want to open fire. However, he questioned why bullets were fired when the same people reached D-Chowk.
The JUI-F chief stated, “Every party has the right to hold rallies and protests, including myself and my opponents. We strongly condemn the violent behavior of the rulers in Islamabad.”
He further added that he is not concerned with the decisions of any party or leader, whether right or wrong. According to him, every individual and party is responsible for their own decisions.
