Member of the National Assembly Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has stated that former Prime Minister Imran Khan should be provided with complete, fair, and legitimate facilities for his treatment.
In an interview with foreign media, Aseefa Bhutto emphasized that the threats to Imran Khan’s life should not be ignored. “Anyone who says their life is in danger, we must seriously ensure the necessary measures for their protection,” she said.
She further mentioned that although Imran Khan is in jail, all legal and judicial avenues remain open for him, and he has the right to present his case before the courts.
Aseefa Bhutto also reflected on her family’s past, saying, “Despite being in power multiple times, my family had to endure imprisonment and even the threat of execution for political reasons, so I can deeply feel the seriousness of this matter.”
