The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products,which has come into effect from 12 am tonight. Petrol price also reduced by five rupees per liter.
Last night, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced a reduction of five rupees per liter in the price of petrol. As a result, the new price of petrol will be 267 rupees per liter.
Ishaq Dar stated that there has been no change in the price of diesel, so its price will remain at 280 rupees per liter.
Additionally, after a decrease of 12 rupees, the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will be sold at 184 rupees per liter, which was previously less than 196 rupees per liter.
The Finance Minister also announced a reduction of 15 rupees per liter in the price of Kerosene Oil, as a result of which its new price will be 187.73 rupees per liter.
