Defending champions Argentina defeated England 2-1 in the second semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to book their place in the final.
The semi-final, played in Atlanta, produced an intense contest between the two sides.
England took the lead in the 55th minute through a goal from Gordon.
Argentina staged a late comeback, with Fernandez equalising in the 85th minute.
Martinez then scored the winning goal in the closing stages of the match to seal a 2-1 victory for Argentina.
The win sends the defending champions into their second consecutive FIFA World Cup final.
England, meanwhile, saw their hopes of reaching a World Cup final for the first time in around 60 years come to an end.
Argentina will face Spain in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final on Sunday, while England will take on France in the third-place playoff on Saturday.
