Two suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Shipok and Simi districts of Balochistan. Security forces conducted a search operation on information about the presence of suspected militants in the mountainous area of Kech district.
Officials said that the alleged militants were identified as Shoaib and Yahya, who belonged to a banned outfit.
In another incident, unknown assailants stormed the office of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Bil Nagur area of Kech district.
Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan on Public Health Engineering Lala Rashid Dashti strongly condemned the attack on NADRA office.
