The Election Commission has suggested the dates of April 30 to May 7 for holding general elections in Punjab province and has sent a letter to the President.
An important meeting was held in the Election Commission under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, in which members of the commission and other officials including the secretary participated.
According to the statement, the Election Commission has sent a letter to the President in the light of the Supreme Court’s decision, in which the dates for holding the elections in Punjab province have been suggested from April 30 to May 7.
According to the announcement, the Election Commission has also sent a letter to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali, in which it has been said that in the light of the Supreme Court’s order, the Election Commission is waiting for your reply.
