Karachi: After a brief dip, gold prices have once again risen in both international and local markets.
The international bullion market witnessed a $13 increase in the price of gold per ounce, pushing it to $3,366. This rise in global rates directly impacted Pakistan’s local gold markets on Wednesday, where prices showed a notable upward trend.
As a result, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan jumped by Rs 1,300, reaching Rs 359,300. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,114, pushing it up to Rs 308,041.
Silver prices also followed the same trend. The per tola rate of silver climbed by Rs 39 to Rs 4,010, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 33 to settle at Rs 3,437.
