Iran’s Ministry of Education spokesperson Ali Farhadi has announced that all schools across the country will be shifted to an online learning system, under which educational activities will continue virtually from April 21.
According to the spokesperson, this decision will apply to all levels of education and will remain in effect until further notice, with online systems being prioritized to ensure continuity of learning.
He further stated that any decision regarding the resumption of traditional in-person classes will be communicated to students and parents at least three days in advance to allow adequate preparation.
The spokesperson added that this step has been taken in view of various ongoing challenges across the country, including internet connectivity issues, although no further details have been provided.
