Peshawar High Court has issued notices to the federal and provincial governments, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, and the President of the country on a petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Justices Ajaz Anwar and Shakil Ahmed conducted a hearing on the petition filed by PTI regarding election cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Speaker of the Provincial Assembly and PTI leader, Mushtaq Ghani, appeared before the court.
Mushtaq Ghani requested the court to provide a near date as the lawyers are on strike and cannot appear in court. The honorable court has issued notices to all parties and has postponed the hearing until April 19th.
