Westerly winds will enter the upper regions of the country from April 15, after which the rains are likely to continue till April 20. There is a risk of damage to standing crops due to heavy rains, wind and hail.
During this time, there is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms accompanied by rain in various locations, including Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal.
Weather experts predict that on April 17th and 18th, there is a chance of rainfall and hailstorms in various locations, including Karam Kohistan, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Quetta, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Nasirabad, and Chaman. Punjab and Sindh’s Larkana and Jacobabad are expected to receive light rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
The concern is that heavy rainfall, winds, and hailstorms may damage standing crops, and there is also a risk of landslides and flooding in the upper regions.
