A madrasa teacher has been arrested in Rawalpindi over allegations of assaulting a student for wearing a torn cap after the incident was reported and a case was formally registered.
According to police, the father of the affected student filed a complaint against the teacher, stating that the child was physically punished over a minor issue and was beaten with a plastic pipe.
The complainant alleged that the student was subjected to violence solely for wearing a torn cap, prompting police to take immediate action and arrest the accused teacher while initiating legal proceedings.
Police officials stated that the student has undergone a medical examination, and investigations are ongoing into both the alleged assault and the claim of unlawful confinement to establish the full facts of the case.
