Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called for a federal cabinet meeting today, where the cabinet will review the Supreme Court’s directives regarding State Bank of Pakistan. The possibility of making important decisions in light of the current situation is also present.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will chair the federal cabinet meeting at 1 pm today at the Prime Minister’s House to discuss important matters.
During the federal cabinet meeting, a briefing will be given to the cabinet regarding the issue of releasing funds for the Supreme Court.
Federal Law Minister Nazeer Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Usman will also brief the meeting on the government’s legal perspective.
The overall political situation in the country will also be discussed during the meeting, and important decisions may be made in light of the current situation.
It should be noted that yesterday the Supreme Court had ordered the State Bank to give Rs 21 billion to the Election Commission for the elections in Punjab.
