Election Commission of Pakistan has ordered the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) former federal minister, Fawad Chaudhry, to personally appear before them on June 15th.
Under the chairmanship of the Chief Election Commissioner, a five-member commission conducted a hearing on the contempt of the Election Commission case against Fawad Chaudhry, a former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Instead of Fawad Chaudhry himself, his deputy lawyer appeared before the Election Commission. The Election Commission has directed Fawad Chaudhry to appear in person on June 15th and has adjourned the further hearing of the case, while issuing show-cause notices to the former PTI leader, until June 15th.
